Remington V3 Waterfowl Pro
Although I haven't seen any of these in person, I do think about getting one from time to time.
Try not to push me over the edge.
Remington V3 Waterfowl Pro shotguns (all are 12 gauge with 28" barrels and shoot 2 3/4" & 3"):
I think I'd go with the Timber and the brown barrel.
What do you guys think?

Bob, I saw your post last night and wanted to think about it for a while before I replied. As I posted earlier in this thread I have owned a VersaMax, albeit 13 years ago, and I sold it to a friend who is an infrequent duck & goose hunter and the shotgun keeps pumping out the steel to this day. While I’m not familiar with Remington’s V3 VersaPort a reluctance I’d have in buying any Remington product would be Remington’s recent restructuring, while I don’t think the brand will ever go away, like Winchester for example, one must take into consideration the company’s long term health and ability to service their products not just in warranty but out of it as well, especially parts as we’ve discussed before and most especially for fringe products that aren’t their bread & butter.
What I’d suggest you do is head over to the Shotgun World forum and go to the Remington Shotguns section and search V3 and read the threads and/or join the forum and post-up in the Remington section for opinions from V3 users.
Hope that helps,
Mac.

Mac, thanks.
Remington (shotguns) is a brand that I'm biased towards.
I've been shooting them for a long time.
Never had a problem (although I never owned an express model, lots of chamber and/or rust problems reported on those).
I'd be willing to take another chance on the ones being made by Rem Arms (I already have one).
I believe they know that they have to put out good products in order to redeem the brand. If they don't, they will go under quickly.
Go big green!
If I got a V3, it would just be a shotgun that joins the rotation.
If it crapped out on me, I'd be disappointed, but it wouldn't be the end of the world.
Plenty of other Shotguns to shoot.
The Rem Arms model that I have is a Field Master 20 gauge that I picked up recently.
If you didn't see the thread, see posts 1 and 21.
I'm waiting for the roads to clear so that it can be used on some Upland Birds.
It's companion, an 11-87 20 gauge that is new to me, will also be going and perhaps 1 or 2 others.
I just enjoy shooting different shotguns.
I'll take a look over there at SW, haven't been there in a long time.God Bless America - My iTrader rating - https://www.calguns.net/forum/market...2-transactionsComment

Oh, I guess my question wasn't as clear as I thought.
While I'm glad to have received the input on the V3,
my question was meant to be geared more towards the thread title.
Of the 3 camo/barrel color patterns shown, which would you choose?God Bless America - My iTrader rating - https://www.calguns.net/forum/market...2-transactionsComment

I like the Timber, Bob, but if I were hunting ducks from a pop-up blind on a State reserve the Blades one would be the better choice..
