I’ve heard several good reports on the Franchi Affinity from duck hunters, that it’s reliable and priced right, how do you like yours, Bakerloo?

I love it. It's worked flawlessly since day 1. I think it's probably the best value out there.

                        Happy New Year!

Adding how long have you've had it and how many rounds you have put thru it, would be helpful.

I've had a Remington Versamax for 10+ years.
                        The camo is Duck Blind.
It's got somewhere between 1K and 2K rounds thru it.
It's been shot more on doves and clays, than on ducks.
Sadly, the ducks haven't been showing up here like they used to.
It's a very soft shooter and very reliable, but it still hasn't been shot a lot.

The majority of hunting that I do now, is for upland birds.
I have other guns that I prefer to use when hunting them, so the Versamax doesn't see the light of day very often.

The fact that my friends and I haven't been drawn for waterfowl this year season, hasn't helped.

As the old saying goes, "beware of the man with one gun."

I started with a Wingmaster and shot it exclusively for quite some time.
Used for skeet, quail, ducks, peasant...lots of good times.
It's the one on top in the picture.
Originally, it had a satin finish, but at some point I got a high gloss stock & forend and changed it.
Added a Supercell (wish they'd start making them again) recoil pad.
It's the same type of pad that the versamax came with.

I've had it for 3 years. Probably 750 rounds through it. Like you, more dove and clays than ducks.
