Silver Pigeon cracked stock

Unless you want to upgrade the stock I would just have Bob repair it. It will be just as good and he can glue it and put in a reinforcement depending on the size of the crack. He can make sure that the stock is properly fitted to the action so that it will never crack again. If you buy a new stock it will still have to be well fitted to make sure it does not crack under fire.

To get it fixed the fastest +3 on Bob Day. Great guy, works out of his house near LA Clays, does amazing work.
He fitted my Silver Pigeon for me and put an adjustable recoil pad and I love it.

To save money, you can check if Beretta can fix it, but that will take time, and the weather is great for clay shooting.

I ended up pulling the stock and the crack did not go very deep.

Went to a woodworking store near me and picked up some cyanoacrylate glue and after taping off the area put a line of glue over the crack and gently encouraged it into the crack with airpressure.

Now 300 rounds past the repair and it seems fine. I will continue to watch and if it reappears I can reasses.

Beretta service is slow and spotty at best.
If the stock bolt loosened up from use, that could cause this.
Other possible causes for this:
Stock bolt to tight or the in-letting is not quite right.

Personally, I'd call Bob Day.
