Agreed, I keep #4 in the home pump gun. It only goes through 6 sheets of drywall instead of 9 sheets, like #00.

I use 00 or slugs. More folks these days are coming dressed for the occasion and you don't get to pick the type of confrontation you will experience. I had an attempted burglary at one of my homes on September 1st, so you never know.
