2013 would have been a 1st generation KSG, from what I have read they solved the problems with the 2nd generation model.
I love my old school shotguns but they are just that, to alter them in any way would devalue them as they are original nor could I do anything to make them hold 14 rounds, 24 from what I have read if I went mini's.

Oh, I also ditched the plastic followers for stainless ones. The carry handle has a fiber optic sight. I hit gongs at a 100yrds constantly at Angeles with just the Magpul mbus sights. Talk about satisfying!
