Absolutely, I have a Tavor X95 in FDE in jail now. I'll likely get the TS-12 next. It's a great option, but the VEPR12 was special lol.

I think ima keep my lynx12 if and when AWB goes away

So semi auto shotgun with tube ok but not with magazine? Like say an m2 clone that takes detachable mags? No pistol grip or collapsable stock....

CA assault weapons laws for shotguns requires all semi-auto shotguns to utilize a fixed magazine in order to be CA legal.

If the semi-auto shotgun does not utilize a fixed magazine, then it considered an assault weapon in CA, regardless of how it is configured. [PC 30515(a)(7)]


Example:
The SRM Arms SRM-1216 semi-auto shotgun is considered an assault weapon in CA because it utilizes detachable tubular magazines.

Magazine has to be fixed on a shotgun, no such thing as a "featureless" shotgun. From my understanding from reading the "Assualt weapons" from the DOJ website, is that you can either have:
1)a fixed stock with a pistol grip and/or foregrip.
2)a collapsible stock but no pistol grip and/or foregrip.
