Model 11 update

Thanks everyone!

The work was done by The Gun Works in Lassen.
- complete tear down and clean out
- replaced some missing screws
- bead blasted some metal
- polished some parts
- cerakoted titanium
- cut barrel to 18.5”
- added mag extension
- added bead sight
- cleaned but didn’t refinish the stock and forearm


Needs a much bigger charge handle…to be continued


And I have “a few” of these Model 11s in various stock and sporter configurations…. I remember when they were $150

If I might make some suggestions for your gun,,

First,,,It looks really nice!

Do the two Piece Lifter Mod to it. This consists of a different Locking Block and Spring, Two Piece Lifter, and Spring. Parts available on Ebay or Art's Gun Shop in Missouri. 1-636-944-3630

Also see Art's Youtube videos on this shotgun and they are a wealth of info freely available. You will be able to take it all the way apart and put it back together your self.



The Two Piece Lifter Conversion which was stock after 1963 makes it so you can load the magazine with the gun held upright without having to hold the bolt release down. When You load the first round into an empty gun with the bolt open, and it automatically puts it in the chamber and you are ready to fire.

If the Bolt is Open the gun is empty, if the Bolt is Closed you are ready to fire. PERIOD!

Also a set of Rifle Sights is a must have item. You've got everything else covered nicely!

These mods really make these guns superior to all others. With the two piece lifter I can beat the Beretta's and Benelli's every time. It is a superior combat gun in every way over the new guns and it has been around since 1903! They shouldn't have reinvented the wheel, it already worked just fine.
