Remington 11-87 Sporting Clays

As an Aussie guy I used to work with would say, "good on ya mate" for offering the seller what he wanted for it.
I'm a bit of a Remington fan, started out with an 870 wingmaster and have had a few 11-87s. Sold the 11-87s, but always seem to acquire a replacement. The current 11-87 is a nice 20 gauge that I picked up a month or so ago.
You're going to enjoy the one you just dros'd. Congrats.

Yeah, even though I was a late comer considering some of you guys, Miramar was a great facility.
I did that exact same thing, re-upped my membership and they closed the following week. Pretty much hosed everybody that did that. Not a good thing.
From my understanding, it was the new commander that came in and didn't like the lead aspect, so closed it down. They removed all traces of it shortly thereafter.
Not sure that another commander might redo it? Duncan Hunter, while making a lot of promises in getting it back directly after it closed, never made good on those promises....typical politician.
I really enjoyed shooting there though. Typically went on Saturday mornings and shot mostly skeet but managed to shoot a few trap tournaments too.
Miss that place a lot.
We ended up going to Camp Pendleton for skeet after a few years, and it was fun. They shut that down too due to , yup, lead!
