Maybe the low price is scaring people away. Bump it up a little.

I think you’re about $50 high…If it were in 99% condition $625 would be about right.

Also, CalGunners are notoriously cheap bastards when it’s not off-roster and/or not tacticool, some don’t tip either…

I think trying to sell a fixed choke gun for hunting is harder to do in a state that requires steel shot (or other non-toxic shells) for hunting.
Trying to find a buyer for it that will use it for skeet or skeet & hunting probably won't be much easier.
Most of the guys that have some appreciation for the older Remingtons are probably older themselves and already have one.
The younger guys see it as outdated and a relic, kind of the way they see us.

You might be able to get $500 for it, but it will still probably take some time.
At $450, I would expect it sell a bit sooner.

No need to qualify that statement with any other verbiage.

And some might even brag about it

That gun is buried among all the other long guns. Personally, I think there should be a separate category for shotguns instead of grouping them with all long guns.

As noted by others, configuration (2-3/4, fixed IC, 26") is not in the market's sweet spot right now.

Looks like the butt may have been cut for that pad, so you might want to clarify LOP with and without the pad.

Pad is hideous and poorly fitted. That alone is a deal breaker for me. Sure, it's easy to fix, but that adds cost to the deal for the buyer.

We know you have a decent camera because we've seen your other pics from your travels. Might help to post better pics.

I like 1100s and own two (one like yours but mint and with an extra 30" FC barrel), but I think that is a $400-$450 gun.

            Good points.

My brother has been looking at LGS and gun shows; he like shooting my 1100. He mostly wants to bust clays.

The challenge is most of the reasonable price ones, like Brad's, are fixed choke. My brother wants one set up like mine, with screw in chokes.

When I got mine, it came with the 26" skeet choke barrel. I kind of wish I would have waited and bought one with a 28-30" removable choke barrel; I eventually did buy a 30" barrel with changeable chokes...

I do really like my setup though. The 1100-Skeet with the 30" barrel added.

You know, I pulled it out today, and it's still a nice gun. I put in a new magazine spring, and a new recoil spring, and I'm going to give it to my brother-in-law.

How much you want for your skeet choke barrel? That's what I had on mine, but the gun was stolen.

Hey, I ran into spank_monkey186 at the range today, he bought it for $350.

Rem 1100, my first shotgun. Wish I had never sold it, but I did sell it to buy a Browning O/U for skeet.

I'm hanging on to it. I like the swing of the longer barrel on trap and sporting clays, but still like to get the skeet barrel out on the skeet range.

Sometimes I try a low hold; that's where the shorter barrel is perfect. I'm not good from the low hold, but it does replicate field conditions.

All this talk about fixed chokes make laugh. The three shotguns I shoot the most are, my duck gun a Beretta A300 with the same IC choke I've had in since I bought.

My sporting clays gun, a Krieghoff K80 with an IC in the bottom barrel, and a Lt Mod in the top barrel, just like when I bought it.

And my travel gun, a Browning 525, with an IC in the bottom barrel, and a Lt Mod in the top barrel, just like when I bought it.

I've got a dozen other chokes, and I've tried them, but I keep coming back to IC and Lt Mod. I'm not one of those guys that changes chokes at every station.

I'll go you one better..... I shoot a Skeet choke for everything.

Do you actually pattern your gun and ammo? You’d be surprised. Plus with the steel shot and difficulty finding the same ammo I’m frequently having to change chokes. It’s the least you can do to make ethical shots while hunting. I’m not a fan of wounding things when a little work could of resulted in a clean kill.

With my 870 I hunt dove, quail, turkey and coyotes and it occasionally serves for HD as well. So quite a bit of different uses, ranges and ammo selection.
