You could try editing your original 1st post with your lowest price because some people do not scroll down and read all your bumps to the top and see that you have reduced its price a few times.

I also think putting your location and the current low price in the sale thread title helps.

You could also try asking for $499.99

I just looked at GunBroker and current bids are $450-$600 with other ads asking way above ($1K range) for folks to start bidding on other ads.

MSRP on a new Remarms version 1100 appears to be $1430, btw.

It's also, unknown to me, to what extent the current Remarms company will service a prior-Remington company shotgun (if at all), should service/repair ever be necessary.

Good luck on the sale as I'm an older 11-87P owner, but hesitate to shoot it much with parts and repairs being more difficult to obtain after the bankruptcy of the old company.

Too bad you're in SoCal; my brother really likes my 1100. He's been looking.

Mine's 1100-Skeet with the 26" barrel fixed skeet choke. I got a 30" barrel with screw in chokes. It's a clay buster...

Fixed choke kinda suck these days. It’s easier to change your choke to get a better pattern than it is to constantly find ammo your gun likes.

As you know, the economy and present inflation is eating up our purchasing power. Most people are getting nervous (I am), we don't know how bad things will deteriorate. Food scarcity and the drought too.

With my Rem, you've always got the right choke in, and it's IC

It's worth more than my 870. In 1972 shortly after our daughter was born I figured I needed a shotgun. The 870 was $125 at Montgomery Wards. The 1100 was $60 more.
Your $550 price looks more than fair I wouldn't part with my 870 for $500.

For all its negatives (Not a newer 11/87, fixed choke, 2.75 chamber) I think your asking too much. I bet you'll see some action at $450-475
