Actually I need a lot of help. I have been sucking so bad (Single digits!) at this game with my new gun I am seeking a school I can go to to learn this game from the bottom up and when I say bottom I mean," I don't know which end of the bullet the gun comes out of."
Today I shot a 9 and an 8 and didn't want to go on as it was a waste of ammo.
Is there such a thing as a beginners Skeet School at maybe Oak Tree or somewhere like that in Northern LA that I could drive to from Ojai and not have to leave at 3AM to get there ?
I read the thread on the SoCal Skeet Clinic then found out the guy giving it had passed away.
Is there something within driving distance <75 miles that could get me actually hitting targets?
I have read books on this and know where to put my feet, but shots that I think should be good are coming up lost. Shots I have made consistently with my .410 I am missing with the 12GA, and I don't know if it is the gun or me.? I know this new gun doesn't swing as fast as the .410 does but after 300 rounds I'd think I was getting used to it?
Right now I have Zero confidence because I can easily miss every shot on the field and that includes Low 7 which I could get every time with my .410. It's almost like there is no shot in most of my shells.
Very frustrating. I need some help here!
