    Benelli M1 Super 90

I have an opportunity to pick up one of these from a friend that has about 2 boxes of ammo through it, says he doesn't shoot it and wants to get rid of it. I'm currently looking to pick up a semi auto shotgun since I sold my last one quite a few years ago and regret it. does anyone have any experience with this gun, I know next to nothing about it.

I don't have pics of the gun, I'll post some if i buy it, right now though I'm looking for info on it to see if its worth it or not, I don't want something with a lot of problems.

They are inertia recoil operated, not as soft shooting as gas operated shotguns but they are very simple and mine has been very reliable.

You wont be disappointed with the M1. Just keep in mind since it's inertia operated it's dependent on how consistent you shoulder it. The recoil impulse between the all the legacy Super 90 series is minimal, even when compared to the M4.

I might have some spare parts for your M1 if you need it (pistol grip stock, tube, etc). They interchange between the M1 and M3 (which I have).

Is it an HK marked Benelli M1?

Depending on what the price is also consider the Beretta 1301.

M1 S90 are great and reliable shotguns. Since they're inertia drive they will cycle everything without problems. If you decide to run a side saddle and a weapons light it may not cycle bird shot100%, but heavier loads will not be a problem.

Wood or synthetic stock? The ones with wood stocks are lookers.

hes asking 800 and it has 2 boxes of buck through it, thats all. Its synthetic pistol grip stock, I believe its marked Benelli not HK, needs the rear sight repaired as the ring fell off during its last outing and he didn't notice it until he got home, went back to BLM area he was in and couldn't find it.
