    Had a Remington smoothbore single shot 22 I got from an Aunt. Didn't see much use for it, so I traded it off. Probably shouldn't have done that, but I did apply it to other firearms.

    Not as stealthy, but have a Marlin single shot bolt action 410 for pests.

      After some research I found it was made that way and after a trip to a good gunsmith I found it is safe to shoot.

      Actually have never shot it though. It's worth more to me as the gun Dad learned to shoot as a kid.

        Got my hands on a nice "pistol-crossbow", but I think my "invaders" might be of the friendly type, raccoons; possums; but there are coyotes who seem to be well fed; not sure if our neighborhood "cat population" has been affected. Crossbow is nice and quiet, so there is the alternative targets of cat-thieves; I'm just aiming under the vehicle, don't care what it hits; if it screams I got something.
