May the Bridges I burn light the way.

Life Is Not About Waiting For The Storm To Pass - Its About Learning To Dance In The Rain.

Fewer people are killed with all rifles each year (323 in 2011) than with shotguns (356), hammers and clubs (496), and hands and feet (728).

OK that's what the Underside of the M500 lifter needs to look like.

Maybe some creative forming and welding can work here?

Yeah that might work, an issue I see is on our 500 series shotguns the lifter sits flat against the carrier whereas it ramps down on the beretta. I think you would only be able to get minimal build up before you would get clearance issues.

The problem with teh M500 is that the shell must be down into the action against the bottom of the bolt before it can go forward. This makes it difficult to get another round behind it to push it into the mag tube.

A ramp that got the rear end of the shell up about half the diameter of the shell base above the bottom of the receiver might be a good solution?

Have to fool with it to see if that can make any difference. The entrance to the mag tube is not very friendly either and has some stuff the round can hang up on.

            We'll see.
