I have two new trap manuals you might find useful.

Los Altos rod and gun club trap league starting up again soon. Good place to start. Super chill - just for fun.

My buddy just brought his short barreled 870 with a pistol grip and shoulder stock to Richmond Rod and Gun. He shot both trap and skeet without a problem.

he was lucky they allowed it. Richmond only allow non toxic shot. Very pricey.

Great advice. When I was looking for an O/U shotgun, I went to Coyote Clays and hired an instructor and rented a few guns to see what fit me the best. It was money well spent.

As far as addiction goes, clays are orange crack. Buy shells when and where you can find them.

                You got that right
And no matter what you think, once addicted, your first gun won't be your last.
Orange crack turns into a gun addiction...Too many is never enough

I introduced a few folks. Orange crack lol best description ever.
Started with a new 870. Then a vintage win12 so I could slam fire doubles. Stoeger mk3k next. Then another skeet M12 with a cutts comp. Finally stopped at the silver pigeon over under.
Add reloading to the list. Glad I stocked up before the stupid ammo crisis. Let's just say, I had thought 25 cases of target was enough[emoji3525]

At this point I think crack might be cheaper...
                    I started with an 870>>>Browning Gold>>>CZ Upland Sterling>>>FN SC1>>>Zoli Kronos Extra>>>Browning Gti Ultra>>>Browning 725 Golden Clays>>>Browning 725 Sporting (28ga)>>>Perazzi HTS.
Add in the reloading equipment, supplies, target costs, club memberships, fuel...
It would have been cheaper to smoke crack

                          Lol.
Buddy got a Kolar, perazzi and a kreghoff. Yes crack is probably cheaper.
Maybe we should start a AA for orange crack?[emoji16]
Hes now going through about 20k shells a year. He went overboard with a auto drive spolar press.

Hahahahahaha. I'm so glad I took a year off because my range was closed..omg the money I saved. Not to mention staying away from the clubhouse. I've got too many errr, items from our wts board. I've scored some amazing deals. My silver pigeon was a sub 600, win94 200, 303 for next to nothing. Yup.
Now I'm thinking I really need to get back into the swing of things. Shotties are getting dusty from 18 months of rest.
