remove the side saddle and shoot a few rounds to see if the gun functions correctly. if it did, john323 is right about the screw being too tight. same thing for the pump action shotguns, if the screw is too tight it will be hard to pump it. if without the side saddle and it is still not functioning properly you have a problem with your new gun.

Hi
I posted a few days ago. I removed the Mesa Side saddle from My mossberg 930 and it functioned flawlessly. probably put 30 rounds thru it and not one malfunction. I do now think it was the side saddle. I called mesa and he will send me another set of screws. I will try one more time to see if the new screws make a difference. i will advise
