It might be funny to see the expression on her face and hear what she has to say
Make sure she meets with Jordan to help her find her first shotgun. My wife loves her Syren! And now when my wife and I go on vacation, we make them claycations!

Uh... no... I'd take here there strickly for the shock value!

Wife isn't into shooting, but appreciates the fact that I like to.

My niece likes to shoot with me. We are both still learning. I'll take her instead... although... I'd hate to see her spend all her rent money on a new Syren! :lol

Not necessarily, she may see the cost of everything and start holding on to the hulls

Exactly! The shotgun is the least expensive part of this hobby.

Just a while back I had everything but hulls. Now even I dumpster dive for hulls.

              Tell me it isn't so

              I'm starting to get low, I only have about 1750 28ga and 1500 12ga.
I think I need to start picking up the 12ga hulls.

That seems like a lot to me.

I got 1000 AA's and 1000 GC's hulls in 12ga. Have about 250 of each in the current rotation with the others waiting for these to wear out. Considering that I will reload each about 6-8 times (I guess), I would think I'm good for a couple of years.

Even have 400 AA's 28ga hulls... but no gun that can shoot them

Well, the 300 12ga in rotation now are getting close to EOL, when I see a split they go bye bye.
I shoot 12ga more than 28ga, the 28ga will last me a long while.
Like you, I like to have more than necessary on hand. I don't want to run out...EVER!

I bought 2500 AA's from a guy in Las Vegas a few years ago for .04 each or $100 for the lot. Still got lots left.

I got 1000 .410AA's off Trapshooters.com but they were .15 /round, I'm just about thru the first loading of them and about to go into the second round. They don't last nearly as well as the 12 ga ones do. Nothing to get 8-10 reloads out of old style AA's and at least 5 out of new style but the smaller gauges just don't last as long cuz the Crimps are much tighter and work the plastic more.

Unfortunately all of them are costing more nowadays due to the demand.

I use Gun Club hulls for 12ga, they load very nicely. Usually I can pick up plenty at the range. These days I'm finding fewer than I used to. Today I picked up more than I threw out...Net gain for me.

When I load, if I see a split I ink stamp the head red.

Red head = Toss after use.
