So you could argue that you did buy a Benelli.

Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.

Yeah, that was part of my rationale as well. I picked up a 3020 defense a little while back...

Can't beat the price, and I wanted to play around with a defensive 20 gauge.

I was excited until I tried to check out.. cant pay online... Have to commit to purchase on GB, then contect seller for payment. Too many things can go wrong for my comfort.

Thanks for the heads-up though - maybe somebody will go for it and have a good gun.

Thanks for the vouch... ive bought a couple guns from GB, but its been years and I dont remember how I paid.

I might give it better consideration... ive become a bit less trusting these days - maybe I should work on that.

Danger Will Robinson, Danger. Nothing good can come of that. Opting out was the correct call.

I will be interested to actually see one of these Turkish M4 clones.
With the qualifier that"Italian Engineering" is one of the original oxymorons, there's a reason those cost that kind of money.

Even just a few years ago, $1400-$1500 for the 'real deal' Benelli. Until I got into this thread, I had not realized how rare, and expensive, these had become in CA.

As per this thread, why bother because you can get the $500 m3000 or $800 Turkish m4 clone

I mean, if someone wants to spend twice as much for a roll mark, that's up to them. If you're taking it to work every day,or you want bragging rights (or your Uncle is buying), maybe you'd feel more comfortable with it saying Benelli on it, and that's understandable. But, 100% interchangeable for half price? That's a no brainer for me, for a fun gun that I can beat on.
