CA DOJ Locking case or safe for Keltech KSG

Good afternoon, I want to buy a Keltech KSG after the pandemic. I just wanted to ask KSG owners or anybody that knows of a single shotgun case and/or single shotgun safe that is CA DOJ approved. This is my only long gun and have no plans of buying more guns after this so I dont need a big safe.

Buy a full size safe that can accommodate more stuff. You can use for documents, ammo, watches, jewelry. Dont limit yourself.

Since you're in San JO, I would head straight over to https://libertysafesofsanjose.com/
They have a large selection and, like Pythonfan said, buy something bigger than you need, you will end up realizing that you will want to put more stuff in there.

        ^^^ This is great advice

Check out MidwayUSA.com for a rifle bag. Plenty of selection.

Most are going to say buy a full-size safe, but if you're only gong to own one or two long guns, can't afford a full-size safe or have limited space, check out the Barska HQ800. I bought one for my shotgun and have been impressed with it so far .It can be opened with a biometric fingerprint, combo on the keypad or key. It's a lot burlier than I thought it would be. Just make sure you anchor it to the wall because it will be prone to tip over when it's opened, plus it won't be as easy for someone to just walk off with it if it's secured. I have it mounted in my closet next to my bed.

You should be able to find a StackOn brand metal cabinet for about $100 at stores like Home Depot, Big 5, etc.

Just get a bigger safe. You will regret getting a tiny safe.

Liberty has got a good promotion going. No payments for 90 days, and 12 months no interest. I'm seriously considering getting another one.

If you just want the cheapest thing possible can you get a trigger lock? If you want it to prevent theft I am not sure that home depot one would be very secure, you could probably pry it open with a crowbar.

I got pretty good sized Costco Bighorn that is solid.. I also have a cheap StackOn lagged to the wall studs, for the overflow guns.

It says CA DOJ approved safe, i am not sure if this matches the Bank Vault type security standards of Mr. Becerra. But do any of you guys know if I take apart the KSG if it will fit in. Its not going to be my home defense gun so I dont need quick acces to it. I live in a studio apartment and I dont have room for a big safe. Im sorry i keep asking questions.

I would definitely not even remotely consider a KSG as my home defense gun...good choice.
