Beretta 1301 Comp - Best Setup

Sorry if this is a dumb question but does anyone here know about beretta 1301 competition version (21”/24”) falling under “922R compliance” if you add an extended magazine tube (Nordic/Taccom/Lancer/etc)? Anyone here have experience with this?

If you change the magazine follower (Nordic low drag), the forend and stock to American parts your g2g. Aridus makes an adapter for the forend to accept magpul AK forend.
There are a couple stock and adapter options from Mesa and Aridus

Thanks for the reply but I thought the Beretta 1301 Comp has a total of 14 out of 20 imported parts (listed below):

1. Frame/ receiver
2. Barrel
3. Barrel extension
4. Bolt
5. Bolt carrier
6. Gas piston
7. Trigger housing
8. Trigger
9. Hammer
10. Disconnector
11. Buttstock
12. Forearm/handguard
13. Magazine body
14. Follower

By swapping only the follower, buttstock and forearm get you down to 11. Unless I’m missing something?? Which I hope I am...

Congrats on the 1301, thats on my short list. I'm torn between the 940 and 1301, 1301 is a better gun but the 940 holds 10 rds. I was really hoping to avoid the clamp on the extension tube like the 940 did away with though.

I had a Nordic extension on my 1301 comp. I don't compete and I thought all the extra weight in the front from the extension & shells threw off the balance. I replaced the extension with a Nordic MXT QD plug cap in front and now I have a nice place to mount a QD equiped sling should I need to without upsetting the balance. The gun is relatively light and I didn't want to add too much to it. I also added a Beretta 1301 Bolt Shroud kit so I wouldn't induce the shell release "feature". Mine is older but I heard the newer ones corrected this. I topped my off with a set of chokes to pattern my buckshot and I think I'm good to go.

For the 1301 Comp, KE Arms makes an Aimpoint Micro adapter.

I love my 1301 Comp. No real need for sights since it comes with a mid-bead on the rib. Its fast and lite.
