Mossberg JM pro 930 problem

I wanted to post this on my old thread, but it said it was to old.

Problems: Dead trigger and safety would not engage.

Solution:
Since we are all on lock down, I decided to disassemble the whole shotgun again. Examined all parts and found the problemo.

The Trigger hammer has a little tang towards the rear of the shotgun. There is a valley where the tang drops in. There was a hard metal ball, it looks like a bird shot, or something. Once i removed the obstruction, Everything Is back into action, the trigger works, as well as the safety.

I don't have a 930 (only a 590A1), but there might be a detent ball which may go under the safety.

The Brownell's description doesn't list the ball detent going to a 930 and I'm just making an educated guess for the possibility of the 930 having such a ball detent.

The 930 does have the ball detent in its safety like the 590/500 series shotguns. I had a 500 that the safety would engage if the pump was racked too hard. I had to deepen the detent hole on the safety itself to ensure positive engagement on or off.
