My JM Pro has never had any failures (Knock on wood). It fires 10rds in the blink of an eye and is a very soft shooter with everything I put through it. Mine eats anything I feed it, it has a permanent place in my collection

I have experienced the follower issue, I had to get the round to "Click" where the mag release holds the round in the mag tube. I'm sure an upgrade would be better at loading, but it doesn't really bother you once you get used to it. I sometimes have to shove my finger in there and the lifter catches my thumb.... I've got it down with some practice but it is annoying, I wouldn't call it a failure though.

It's a real blast to shoot in BLM smoking pumpkins and watermelons, I used it for trap a few rounds to see how a 24" Barrel would do and it wasn't bad.... I felt like I needed more barrel pretty quickly. I couldn't imagine using it for sporting clays though.

My only complaint is that the loading gate on mine bites the **** out of my thumb when I load.
My friends and family disavow all knowledge of my existence, let alone my opinions.

Picked up the OR3GUN Competition kit, $140 black friday special with a free hat. I didn't feel like I needed it. But, at least this 930 will have maximum coolness!

Because "Breaking In" is all about wearing all the sharp edges off the various internal parts that interact. Like slide ways and and things like triggers, and trigger sears that have to pivot and work against Hammers and things like that. Anything that slides against anything else will need to be worn in. Its all about the number of moves not the severity of those moves. All that running them hard from the beginning does,,, is show you what will break first.

You're probably too young to remember that when you bought a new car they recommended not driving it over 50 MPH for the first couple of hundred miles to give everything a chance to seat and wear in. If you drove it hard it only reduced the service life of the engine and mechanical parts of the car. Even now it is considered standard practice with a new car to run it a little easier until the first oil change, then you can run it harder.

Same is true with guns or any other mechanical thing. You don't beat the ship out of them at the beginning, you slowly work up to that level over time. They tend to last longer if you don't run them full blast all the time.

But the other side of this is the fact that it was beating the ship out of "your body" unnecessarily. And, Believe me,,, you will regret this later in life. Excessive recoil only causes poor shooting form to propagate. Flinch Much? All you were accomplishing by shooting boxes of high base loads, was to wear out your shoulder and the recoil spring and buffer in your gun.

I had a young guy in my last Class earlier this month. He insisted that he needed fire nothing but Highbase Buckshot and Slugs in his new M590A1, so he could get the feel of the gun. By the end of the first day his shoulder looked like Hamburger. I gave him a Federal Low Recoil Slug to shoot right after one of his high base slugs. 1300 fps vs 1600 fps and he almost cried when he realized what the difference was. He fired no more high based slugs or buckshot on the second day, and probably won't ever shoot them again.

Unless you are shooting polar bears or other large creatures that will eat you there is no reason to ever shoot a slug at 1600 fps. You simply are wasting the power, and beating yourself needlessly.

But since this is America "Land of the Free", You are free to do whatever you choose.

            Slow down,,, you'll shoot better.

              1) Failure to eject issues - Gas System issues Or3gun Spacer and SBE Precision products Piston

              2) Gun shoots high, having to aim 1ft below target
              3) Has a cheap follower, requires upgrading - SBE Precison Products Follower
              4) Gun has issues in general

There have been many 930s running well over 1000 shells, and some over 2000 between cleanings with perfect reliability with the above mods.

The birchwood Casey lead removal wipes make cleaning the gas system a breeze.

Did my first 3 gun match last weekend and it ran perfectly! Another guy in my group had one that stopped functioning which had me worried a bit. He said he hadnt cleaned it since a match or two ago and left it in the safe for a couple months. He recommended religious cleaning.

There should be a bag of spacers in the box that might help with this.

Jerry Miculek has a youtube video on how to clean them.
