Triple B's possibly closing?!---UPDATE--Not closing, changing ownership

heard a couple months ago, Jim was considering the purchase. just hope Betsy can keep her hands off👿.

I heard a conversation this morning and agree that they absolutely should keep Jun Vergara and Billy England there to maintain everything if they both would like to.

You may want to reconsider shooting there since this is what at least one of their "instructors" teach...

Although it seems to go against basic gun safety. Checking gun fit and bead alignment with the shooters eye is quite a normal thing for instructors to do.

the only downside to triple b closing is that some of the patrons will migrate over to prado and crowd it up.

and i wouldn't be surprised at the commitment to keeping it a shooting venue. the LA got the Olympics coming up in 2028? they need to keep shotgun facilities open so they have options in their bid to fleece the taxpayers and the IOC.

There will be quite a few shooters not welcome at Triple B when Oaktree takes over. Oaktree has a list. Thankfully I got out before I was put on that list. At least Kim Rhodes will be welcome back to Triple B.

Best I heard was Kim complained about the state of disrepair and was asked to stay away. Does not matter anymore but if she could act as an ambassador of goodwill for Triple B hosting international skeet or trap it would be good for all. I love the international field at Oaktree.

OK, thanks. What a shame, a few people I know have meet her (Kim). They all say she is a nice person. I agree, she is and would be a fantastic ambassador.

Not sure what you mean by that. I don't care who is banned from where. I just got tired of being abused and moved on. Too many choices and I shoot were it is most fun. Oaktree aint it, always having to look over my shoulder. Hopefully the new manager at Triple B will do a better job.
