Silver Eagle 12 Ga Semi

If you buy a Yugo (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yugo), it will always be a Yugo - something that nobody wants.
Look in the CG Marketplace and by something with a know reputation and you'll be happy.
You probably can't go wrong with these:
Remington 1100 or 11-87
Weatherby SA-08
Beretta A300
Mossberg (don't know their mode numbers too well).
I'd stick with your current pump, before I'd buy that Silver Eagle.
If you're not having fun with the 2nd shot using the pump, I'd say you haven't shot it enough. Hitting doubles on the skeet field with a pump is really fun. It just takes some time to learn it.

This is where "running a pump" tells no lies.Comment

I have 3 CZ's 2 o/u and 1 semi auto, my buddy has 3 also 2 o/u and 1 semi, and I know more people with them and never one hiccup with any of them with thousands of rounds, I know they are lower budget and get a lot of bad reviews, Maybe we all got lucky but I love the way they shoot.Comment

I had a CZ O/U, put several thousand rounds through it, never a problem with it.I have 3 CZ's 2 o/u and 1 semi auto, my buddy has 3 also 2 o/u and 1 semi, and I know more people with them and never one hiccup with any of them with thousands of rounds, I know they are lower budget and get a lot of bad reviews, Maybe we all got lucky but I love the way they shoot.
When looking for a low budget shotgun, CZ is a good choice."A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed"Comment

I know you said you want comments from experienced shooters (and I'm not), but this is what I did. It was on sale at Turner's last month for $225 in 20 gague and I decided that, for the money, I could take a chance and let it languish in my safe if I didn't like it.The classic choice:
....
Pay $316 for the TR Import SE17 (made by Turkish Kral Company) and have fewer dollars in the gun safe if I don't use it much.
Thanks for the input guys.
Note that the SE17 is not the same as the SE Sporter you linked to. The SE17 is the base model. The stock is plain and matte finished. The action looks the same, but I'm not sure if there are any internal differences.
When I got it and assembled it at home, I was concerned about the fit of the barrel to the receiver. I emailed TR Imports, and they were very responsive with email and phone. They gave it a clean bill of health, and now I'm waiting for the desert to cool off so I can try it out.Comment
