Why do i need a KSG

Seriously eyeing a KSG for HD

I already have a vepr. It's superior to a KSG BUT that friggin Bullet button is a bear to operate.

A shotgun gives me stopping power. We were doing dueling tree drill with pistols one day at the range. A guy asked to try it with his KSG. The fifth load turned the plate AND knocked the whole target done. I got it.....

Alternatively, check out those magazine fed shotguns from Remington and Mossberg. Can be interesting to have multiple mags of shotshells readily available.

The TS-12 is coming out any day now...could be tomorrow...

          KSG-12 = 25 (12+12+1) Aguila mini-shells
          KSG-25 = 41 (20+20+1) Aguila mini-shells

          KS-7 = 13 (12+1) Aguila mini-shells
^newest variant that is lighter and is suppose to be more reliable than the KSG series due to it not having to deal with the dual fixed magazine tubes.

Try shooting one first. It was the most awkward gun I’ve ever shouldered and I can’t even imagine how uncomfortable it is to shoot.

I really like the KSG with the mini-shells, and with the added capacity, I think it's a good choice for HD.

Be advised that the bullpup design is brutal with full size slugs or other high brass loads. After a box of ammo your shoulder will be wanting a break.

I wonder how you developed that short stroke habit causing all those malfunctions?

I shot one before. It's not enjoyable but it's not a 300 weatherby mag either.

I think maybe the vepr will be enough. I won't buy a remington anything although the mag fed looks like a good product.

I have a few KSGs because they are cheap novel guns but if I were to pick a shotgun for HD, it would be an 870 hands down. There is no need for the KSG capacity for HD unless you're expecting John Wick level defense. I personally would not use a KSG in a dark, high-stress moment when there are other much better options.

It's a toy, an annoying one at that. Toys are for having fun not self defense. I run an FN SLP competition.
