"But then again, you could get tired lugging around a BB gun for Chukar".
Ain't that the truth! Been out of cuss words real quick chasing those guys in the rocks.
The first time you hunt chukar, it's for sport. After that, it's for revenge.

I wouldn't buy it. I would spend a little more on something with a known reputation for quality, although it may not be an o/u. Or spend twice the price for a used quality o/u, if it has to be an o/u. Spending more will probably get you something that will have better fit and balance, last longer and have better swing dynamics.

A friend had a turkish o/u that he shot for a while. One day I handed him a browning in the same gauge, and after one round of skeet with it, he said he was selling his gun and buying a browning. There was that much of a difference in how it handled recoil, how it fit and how it swung. He bought a browning the next week and sold the other one.

There's a reason the price is low on the pointer (think of the Hundai's in the early 80's). Yes, they will work. They may not be as comfortable or as quiet as a honda or toyota, but hey, you'll probably be able to get 60K thousand miles out of them.

By no means is this saying they are bad, but I did run across this today at Oak Tree. I was there this afternoon after a morning event and one of the R.O. showed me this. It could be an exception, but if you have the chance to inspect any that are being used often, I would recommend doing so. It stopped functioning and this is what they saw.
