Ok I don't want a Surefire. Can't afford it. What alternatives work well for an 870 without emptying my wallet?

I feel you man. But I don't think anyone else offers them like surefire does with the light integrated in the gripsigpic

That looks nice!
Any suggestions for a mount for the TK11 which will hold up to batches of 12g out of the 870 reliably?Mortal as I am, I know that I am born for a day. But when I follow at my pleasure the serried multitude of the stars in their circular course, my feet no longer touch the earth.

Another option is a Streamlight TLR-1 on a Mako foregrip. Should be about $100 less than a Surefure dedicated forend. Not quite so neatly integrated as a dedicated Surefire front end light, but you can move the light to any other weapon with a picatinny rail.Last edited by Monte; 02-24-2009, 12:17 AM.Comment

Nice. I'd seen those before, but I didn't think there was enough room to mount one on a Mossberg 500. Think I'll pick one up.I went with the TRL-1 with a Laserlyte mount. Cheapest combo I could find.Comment
