I won a scattergun...

So I finally picked it up.
Turns out it was more of a 6 hour round trip but I multi tasked along the way well enough that I consider it a wash.
AND turns out the thing is a youth model , was unaware of that .... it's kinda tiny and I'm kinda tall.
But I do have a thing for short stocked long arms at times.
Barrel is 22 inches and modified choke.
May make a holster for it.
Or may sell in the fall at a bargain price to some kid's dad.
Paired it next to my 26 inch barreled ghetto blaster for size comparison.
Still happy , it was my only win of a firearm and I don't expect any more.....

Many years ago a friend carried a shotgun like that camping all the time. A few rounds of buck shot and a bunch of bird shot also.
Carried it broke down, in a home made canvas case.............
He shot a few snakes with it as I remember.........it was a better camp gun then the old AR seven/.22 rimfire that I always carried.
