mag tube capacity question?

just pulled out my mossberg and checked to be sure


just like i thought
i hold 5+1 2 3/4"
and 5+1 3"

bought this at big 5, the 18.5" barrel and the 28"

yea i've used a mossberg too and it only held five, but i used Ranger Slugs.

The Mossberg 500 shotguns with a sealed mag tube are different. Mossberg designed them to get one less 2.75" shell. One reason the mag springs are hard to change out.
