Browning vs Winchester shotguns?

I wouldn't get too hung up on which gun is which. Buy the one that fits you and you like best.

Browning Silver, Gold and Winchester SX3 share the same operating system. They are the same internally. SX2 has not been produced for a number of years and the Gold is only available new in 10 gauge. The Maxus operating system is close to the SX3/Silver/Gold but is different. I could be wrong but I think all Winchester and Browning semi's are assembled in Portugal. Browning O/U's are all still made by Miroku.

OK, now i'll stand corrected.
After some 250-300 shells most of which are target load 2 3/4 and less than 50 3" duck loads the gun actually started falling apart.

1- the trigger group gave a ghost. The wear was so extensive, the gun did not function reliably. They sent me a new one(the trigger group).
2. - 5-7 shots latter with the new trigger group, the gun stopped reloading.
When i opened it for inspection a big chunk of metal fell off. Found out a big part of the bolt just broke off.
3. Further inspection reveled that the bolt carrier has very extensive wear as well

Sent it back to ATI. Hope they take it. No more Turkish garbage for me.
Ones more, you are getting what you are paying for.
If i had only one gun it would mean a ruined duck season.

I've got several thousand shells through my ATI Calvary o/u's and NR a single problem.
