Ah, if you're talking about one of those milspec 870 bayonet mounts, I recall reading that they are hard to find and sell for a premium... (IIRC)

My Mossberg 590 came with a bayonet lug, but I don't know if it has any kind of practical uses. I bought a Bayonet for mine, just because it is funny; I call it my zombie gun now. If zombies ever try to invade my house I can fix bayonet and go to town when the ammo runs out
