For me I run an aimpoint on one and a primary arms cheap dot on my range kag one..both optics have stood up to over 2k rounds of slugs.

Oceanbob had great points. Reloading is not intuitive on the fly buy can be trained. But I love having 7 and 7 rounds.

I actually practice speed loading it. Not as fast as a conventional I admit, but I have way more rounds to start out with than a conventional.

I have a 590A1 and a ksg. I would take the mossberg if it was go to war.
        A.) It's been there before.
        B.) Better manual of arms.
C.) 8+1and quick reloads is plenty fine for any shotgun work I need doing.
        D.) It's a Simpler gun.

That's me though do what you want and consider how much of it is a cool factor for you...that tends to ware off pretty quickly.

I'm very serious about buying a Kel-Tec KSG tomorrow...a LGS has one in stock but I'm still a little skeptical of its reliability..

So,...if you have ever owned a KSG I was hoping you could answer the following questions:

          1. About how many rounds do you have through it?
          2. How many times has it had feeding problems that were NOT caused by short stroking?
          3. Would you say that your KSG was able to reliably feed low brass ammo?
          4. Did anything ever break or need to be replaced?
          5. Would you trust your life to it?

          Thank you

I have never owned one or shot one, but think it looks cool

I also like the Bull Pup conversions as well

Just don't have the $ to spend on those
"It is currently CA legal to modify a double-action revolver into a single-action revolver and modify a single-action revolver into a double-action revolver.

CA DOJ BOF stance on modifying handguns only applies to dimensionally compliant bolt-action single-shot pistols and dimensionally compliant break-open single-shot pistols.
