Just a dud shell or should I worry?

No worries that gun will keep shooting 20 years after your pushing up daisies!
Had a spII made $750 in 4 years from a $1400 purchase price. Thousands of rounds shot through it. Will out last most of us.

Thanks all! The gun likes Federal and Cabela shells. They are not expensive shells but it seems to like them.

I would worry. In fact I wouldn't shoot it any more until you have it checked out by a gunsmith.

No. I should have cut it open. I didn't think of it until after I I got home. When my 500 trigger went out it was wasn't putting a dimple on the cap and it was happening every round of trap I was shooting almost every post. Since there was no dimple, I would drop the shell in and it would fire. In this case, the shell dimpled.

^^Yes.^^ Gun seems good, the one shell does not seem good. Toss it. Keep shooting. Everything should be fine.
