I'm thinking of going for it just hoping to not get a lemon which is apparently an issue however I hear that's also due to user error namely short stroking causing ftf's and fte's. Steel followers an angled front grip should hopefully take care of it. What's the going price point right now? Saw some claimed as the "gen 3" going for about $770 and others that are seemingly 2nd gen going for circa $860?

I just picked one up at Rifle Gear. From my research online this seems to be a Gen3. Price was $850 for the black color. Took it home and got acquainted with it. Used snap caps while playing with it. It seems to function properly. You just have rack it with authority. As long as you do that your golden. I tried to baby it like I could with a Mossberg Mav88 I had and it wasn't down with that. This baby likes it rough

I had an opportunity to shoot one that my friend bought last month. Several times, I thought I had "racked it with authority", but a round was not picked up from the magazine. A defense shotgun should work every time. I'll stick to my Mossberg 500. Works every time.

Update

I just spoke with my friend last night and he told me that he sent it back to Kel-Tec to repair the magazine issues. We shall see how it does when it comes back.
