^ Everything about that seems sketchy to me except the claimed inventory. A lot of places can be set up as storefronts for other distributors, or use drop shipping to artificially inflate "inventory". That said, I wouldn't risk it.

True, that by itself isn't necessarily suspicious, my favorite LGS is guilty of the same thing... it's just an additional red flag.

Any one of us could make an online gun store identical to that one for $12 and a couple hours of time, that's the part that scares me. The guy has nothing invested in it, which means he has nothing to lose by defrauding a customer. He'll just close it down and start a new one for $12.

Buds seems like a great inventory until you lick on the California Compliant section and then the choices are slim. Many things that are legal in CA Buds website reads it will not ship to CA. Kinda strange...

Are you looking for something in particular? I'm assuming an atypical shotgun since you are looking for CA compliant in the shotgun subforum. If you have something in mind, maybe we can point you towards a "go-to" vendor.

Well Mini14.... I will tell you but you have to keep a secret. I know some CalGunners declared war on Mossberg. But I am not convinced they are the devil yet, so I am still looking for a new Mossberg pump action 590A1 model number #51773 (discontinued, but maybe) or #51771.

I am open to boycotting them - just not convinced it the right action. Giving heart ache to a gun manufacturer may not help our cause. The big picture is gun manufacturers and gun buyer need to be friends.

I bought from Bud's once when I couldn't seem to find a particular gun anywhere else. I was quick, easy, and painless. I'd buy from them again.

I prefer to go through my local gun shop first, seeing if they can order what I want if it's not in stock. Support your favorite local shop when you can, or someday they may not be there!

I totally agree with the local shops first, that is why this is my first time trying to buy online. My new local is very small, so supplemental online shopping may be a part of my life now.

One of the Mossberg siblings is developing smart gun tech probably to profit selling it to NATO and such. But... the fear is (legitimately) that CA or the Feds will use the development (for sure they will) to ban any gun without it.
