FOUND PEPPER!!!!

A local resident found Pepper....

She's doing well for being out in MNP for a week...




Sorry to post this in two locations. But I figured shotgun guys who hunt will see it...

Guy's we need your help in finding a lost GSP.

My very good friend Roy was hunting at MNP over Thanksgiving. His female GSP, Pepper lost communication from her Garmin GPS approx mid-day Friday.

They spent all day Friday/Sat and Sunday looking for her but to no avail. Roy contacted BLM, Needles animal control as well as Law Enforcement at Cima Junction. She lost communication at the junction of Cedar Canyon and Black Canyon Rd

Pepper is ~55lbs, liver/ticked. She's wearing two collars Orange GPS and Black Shock collar.

If you happen to know someone in the area, were in and around the area this past weekend and possibly know or seen where Pepper maybe, please let us know.

PM me and I will get the info to Roy. I own Molly, Pepper daughter. Pepper's is an OUTSTANDING GSP and hunting partner.

Geez......I sure hope you find her.

Does she respond to a whistle? Or other sound? If so, I'd pack up for a multi-day track with all the right gear and plan a route through the countryside making the sounds she responds to. Maybe drop some cloth with your scent periodically where you know for certain you can find the cloth again and after you've completed your trek, do it in reverse and retrieve all the cloths along the way. With some luck you'll find her at one of the cloth drops.
