FSC. You can get it when you buy something. No point in starting the timer for nothing.

I meant the hunter safety certification. I seem to buy handguns just often enough that I need to do that card every other time.

I may be able to, but it might depend on who shows up to shoot. I shot in a Skeet league with one of the instructors there, he usually does these shoots, if he's there it shouldn't be a problem. Either way, it doesn't hurt to try...

Sounds good. If not, I'll need to borrow one.

Can't you truck over to any gunshop and take the FSC test? I just did it and it is as simple as the HSC was. Can't imagine you would fail.

I always seem to miss one. I think last time it was the one about the trunk. Most places do it when you buy the gun, so it's just an extra 10 minutes of paperwork.

The hunter safety thing seems to be a bit more involved (and I think that's what you'd need to rent a gun at m&m).

8 is about the easiest station next to low 7. It's all about the initial gun placement, putting the bead on the clay, pulling the trigger and follow through. Kind of like an NBA player and a free throw or a 3 foot putt.

I love skeet shooting, it was the first shooting sport I learned and it is still the most fun for me. Although I've never shot better than 23, I'd rather shoot skeet than any other shooting sport I've tried.

Was a lot of fun! Perhaps we will start another thread but here are some pics of a few stations.
