Busting Clays with a Ljutic Dynatrap?

Interested in a Ljutic Dynatrap Trap shotgun. Anyone busted any clay with one? I've read that once you get use to them it's hard to shoot another shotgun, something to do with their fast triggers. Apparently they are so fast you don't have to lead. They are interesting looking shotguns. I am interested to hear from anyone who has one or has shot one.

Something like 6 years ago, a friend lent me his Ljutic for me to try a round of trap, and it was very pleasant to shoot- I had been using an 1187 at that time and was of the mind that a shotgun was a shotgun. I hit a 24 with the Ljutic and had an epiphany. A few months later I acquired a Rottweil O/U.

Unfortunately, I think the Ljutic I shot was actually a Mono Gun rather than a Dyna Trap: I just did a google search and I remember that high rib.

If there's anything I remember about Ljutics in general is that they're pricey.

I am not joking about the trigger. I read about it in the "Shotgun Forum", I believe. Several contributors commented about the triggers being "fast". They commented that it was one reason that people who shoot the Ljutics find it hard to switch to another gun. I'm just commenting on what I read. I will see if I can find the exact quotes if you like.

The triggers are top quality....this refers to pull weight, break and lock up time, just like good rifle triggers. It does not eliminate the need for leads...just make it more effortless. Just like good triggers on a rifle don't magicly put shots in the bull...but sure makes it easier

The guns themselves are top shelf quality and are made last forever. The first thing you will like is the quality of balance and keeping the barrel in line with the stock....very smooth shooting gun.

Downside is the single barrel config is made for Trap singles or wobble and not much else...although I have seen some O/Us they have made

It should be a awesome shotgun. I used to have there Space Gun, that was a very interesting shotgun to shoot. I ended up selling it because it turned into a distraction during tournaments, it drew a crowd and they wanted to look at it hold it and talk about it.

You still have to lead the target. Thousands of a seconds less in lock time wont eliminate the need for lead

I apologize for addressing you as such, but I am new to this forum and don't know my way around that well, i.e., how to find you proper names. Heck I still can't figure out how to bold the header line, but I digress. Thank you both for your input. I do recall reading about all the aspects of the trigger that you mentioned, pull weight, lock up time and break.
I did see a photo of the space gun, really cool take on a trap gun. I can see how it would draw crowds. The Ljutic Guns are interesting indeed. They do seem rather heavy for a single barrel gun, but users say that their balance compensates for the weight. I am currently trading services for a Perazzi over/ under, so I have that aspect covered.I tend to gravitate towards the Italian guns. I just thought it would be cool to have a single barrel, especially one that was "unique", like the Ljutic.
