    Surefire

[QUOTE= however I was not sure if it was possible to get a +1 magazine extension installed that won't underpass the barrel? I wanted to send it into night hawk or wilson combat.

Also if anyone knows of a site thats selling the original Surefire forend for an 870 like the one pictured below that would be great.[/QUOTE]

So- you can find the old style Surefire foreends cheap on eBay. Old style - incandescent bulb- but the bulbs break easily.

Most of the used ones I have seen had very little use or wear. Many had the original bulb so they could not have been shot that much.

Extensions- take off the plug and barrel for your new shotgun and pull the retainer and spring. Run your finger down into the tube to see if it has dimples in the tube. If it does have dimples, they will need to be removed before any extension is added.
Not a big deal to remove them... You can search for threads or videos on u tube.

If you send the gun out, they can do whatever you want to it...

As always, I suggest that you shoot the piss out of any new firearm to ensure you like it and find out what truly needs to be changed to make it fit your purpose.
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

It is found in the sandpaper section.
The "microscopic" bits are removed when you clean the barrel/chamber when you're finished. I doubt bronze is hard enough to remove machine marks, but it will make the chamber a bit more pretty.

I prefer stainless steel wool, aka a stainless pot scrubber available at your local supermarket.

Abrasive cloth would definitely not be on my list of possibilities, as you'll have microscopic abrasive particles that will be a royal biatch to remove.

          +1 Extension

kotaron - this is the Scattergun Technology +1 on my 18.5 in beater IAC 870 clone.

Hopefully this helps give an idea for the length.

I'm a bit biased, but I think that an upgrade to the SBE Precision Tactical Follower may be a good addition to the build.

The wilson combat 1-shot mag extension is as short as they get. I don't like to keep a lot of forward weight on my room brooms so the 1 shot is a nice compromise.

I just added capacity with the side saddle:

i.e. it'll finish the job Remington was supposed to do at the factory...
