Where'd you get the wood stock and forend? Looks good and I wouldn't mind doing that to mine, it's a trunk gun.

      That looks sweet.
And what else do you need besides a dog and a shotgun?

Where did you get the wood for it?

        Is that the Steven's 350?

Did the original Ithaca furniture fit without mods?

It would odd(but not impossible) if it did since the 350 has two action bars, while the Ithaca only has one. Also, that forend doesn't look like any 37 forend I've ever seen, it fact it looks like the forend off my Remington 31 or my early 50s 870.

          I'm pretty curious too.....

I got it off ebay, I did have to channel for the other action bar, it was easy to do with a Dremel and flat files and drill. It is probably a circa 60s part. Walnut I think, I had to finish it myself it was raw. Didn't have to alter buttstock at all. I had the Choate pistol grip buttstock and fore end on it soon after I got it but it didn't feel right, this is much better. That's a mossberg heat shield with short rail on side for a flash light. It is the shorter magazine though, I should have waited another year to get the extended magazine capacity

Was it listed as an Ithaca 37 stock/forend or for the Savage or for something else? And if it's not to much of a problem, could you post some closer up pictures of that forend? Your time is appreciated either way and once again, it looks really good.

It was listed as Ithaca 37, how do you get photobucket larger pixel size? I used to be able to post larger pics but not as of late

Go to photobucket, click on your picture(or whatever it shows for your account) then click settings. It should open to Personal tab, next to it is the Album tab, click that. Scroll down to the Upload Options, Customize Upload Options hyperlink and click it. Ensure that it is set to upload at the correct size or at least a larger size than what you got.....

                  After that, I got nothing.

PS - After you do that go to the Privacy tab and check the box next to "When I upload, permanently remove information about where my photos were taken" and next to File Name Scrambling. As it stands now, your are leaving the metadata in your pictures(you used a Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z20 to take your pictures), which can reveal specific locations if the images are taken with a GPS equipped device. FYI.

Dude, thread Jack away. I enjoyed seeing it. Hell, maybe we should go rogue and start a wood shotgun thread.

I thought that's what this had turned into already ... which was fine with me.

I love the black look. But nothing compares to the corn cob look as it reminds me of shooting with my Gramps as a kid.

For sentimental value I love the wood furniture.
