    moss500 12g wont fire after 100 rounds?

At the SSZ 5.5 i racked some 12g new from hornady critical defense and no bang. racked it out and super lite primer strike. tried some rem slugs i picked up and the same thing. I lubed the shotgun with frog lube clp. it looks like there is no excess lube and not getting any shots out.

if FL happens to get into the trigger group, can that be torn apart and cleaned?

Why would you use anything that "if it happens to get into the trigger group" it needs to be removed???

No one ever said anything bad about frog lube. Here is another gun, FL CLP moved from the bolt to the lower and now I have this brown sludge.

Works fine in a center fire bolt gun, m1a and m1. My 22lr bolt gun has some problems with FL on the bolt face. no, i didn't put it on the bolt face, FL CLP just happens to move around a lot.

pic is from today, just saw the mess a few weeks ago since i haven't shot it in a while.

No offense OP but this obviously didn't happen.

I base this comment on the fact that the "pumps-are-king" crowd on here repeatedly inform any of us who dare suggest (the apparent heresy) that a semi-auto shotgun can be a valid choice for a HD weapon, that ONLY a pump should ever be used for self-defense since they NEVER have problems. That pumps will function flawlessly after sitting unused for months, if not years, in a safe awaiting their moment of glory.

          sarcasm off now

I had the same problem recently and it seemed to be the small cross pin at the rear of the trigger assembly. It had worked partly out and was askew between the two sides and even was causing an issue with assembly. If this is the case you can work the pin back into place and then be goo to go.

I used frog lube on my Kimber Rimfire and it hardened and made resistance in the rails. I cleared all that crap out and lubed it up with ballistol and its all good again. I don't know if any of that happened to your gun but I threw away my frog lube.

My mossberg 590 had an issue with light strikes. The mag tube had started to creep out, which was offsetting the barrel and chamber just a bit, which was causing light strikes.

I took it to a gunsmith for a tune-up, it hasn't failed me since.

Yes, you CAN fit a case of shotgun shells into a .50cal ammo can.

I think i found an optimal solution for ammo can labeling.

I made this target for the NRA's Marksman pistol test. I think it's a lot better than the paper plate they suggest.

+1, make sure your magazine tube is walking out on you.
