pulled the 22s out of the safe for an insurance picture, and realized.... i am a sick man. next addition will either be a CZ or maybe an old timer pump gallery gun, or maybe a marlin 39A, or ...... haven't figured it out yet.

thanks. no "tacticool" toys, but they are all shooters. the bolt action is a western auto revelation 110 that i got used in the late 60s. no way to tell how many rounds, but i can still ding a 3 inch metal target at 50 yards standing off hand. don't know how it will print paper off of a bag, since i've never had a bench with bags out in the woods popping fuzzy tailed rats.

eyes getting to the point where iron sights are just an invitation to spraying ammo rather than aiming it.
i do have pretty good luck with the 5"x5" aluminum plate using both the kimber and the Smith pistols. i'm actually a better and more consistent shot with a handgun than a long gun. go figure.

Gotta recommend a pump / gallery gun for your next. I'm slightly obsessed with .22's as well and just picked up an old Rossi gallery gun. That thing is a blast to shoot!

you know, that's one of the next ones on the list. an old gallery gun is exactly what i've got in mind. stuff it full of shorts and bang away!

that, perhaps the Savage M-II bolt action. or maybe a CZ bolt. i don't know. too many good ones out there.

glad i got the rimfire bug though. i spent over $2500 for two .45s, and i know i don't have that total in my 22 rifles. pistols, well that's a different story.

i'm just glad the wife doesn't go with me when i buy them. she'd figure it out pretty quickly since she's a bit smarter than me. then it would be me in the backyard with the old daisy pump bb gun the kids left behind when they grew up and moved out.
