Ruger SR22 Barrel

I am going to make a suppressor for my Wifes Ruger SR22 Pistol when my approval from the ATF is returned.

I found one place that has a aftermarket Threaded barrel replacement but the price is pretty steep. Like a 180.00

Anyone know of sources to look at for a barrel? The one I found is half the price of just buying the whole new Pistol with a threaded barrel, ridiculous..


Damn Ruger will not sell you one which is a bunch of Crap. I already voiced my opinion to them about that. They should sell any replacement part that you want. That is just crappy service in my mind..

Seeing as we can't have suppressors in California and threaded barrels are illegal in California on semiauto pistols with a detachable magazine most people here don't have a need for one. No need; no reason for us to look for one and have any info on them. You would probably have better luck on a non California specific forum.

For SR22 you won't find any cheaper threaded barrels than $150-$180 unless absolute crap. Demand is not there to justify quantities. Better off eat the cost or go with new Walther P22Q. It has the threaded barrel already with protector factory installed. $380 with tax usually. The adapter is like $25 on ebay. SR22 of course is better built gun that eats any ammo you feed it so here are your choices.

Well the Ruger she has now was a gift from me. So she would like to keep that one. Walther is not a option. Her SR22 works great..

Maybe I will just buy another SR22 for her I guess, good excuse to buy another Firearm
