It's actually a birthday present for my son. He turns 10 next month and it will
be his to keep when he comes of age. Until that time though it will live in my
safe and we get to shoot it together, hehe.

About an hour before I broke it out of jail today the FedEx guy delivered 200 rounds of CCI Maxi Mag 22 WMR to my front door. Was tempted to take it straight to the range but I'll wait until after the birthday party and when its true owner can accompany me.

Nice gun and a great choice for a new handgun shooter. Basically the same one I learned with back in the 60's. And exactly the same as the one I bought 2 months ago. Very fun gun, if you don't mind slowing down the pace for a while.

I've got a small stockpile. I got him a 10/22 for his 8th birthday so he is familiar with basic firearm safety. He can really go through the ammo though. Hoping the single action slows him down a bit.
