My $50.00 Savage

Another member here screwed up his Savage 64 and listed here for $50. I hooked up with him on Tuesday and started the DROS. He pulled apart the bolt so it needed a new one. I got a new one from Jack First for $30 + $6.75 for shipping. The new bolt just got here today and they included the firing pin and extractor for that price.




Seeing as I'm in to this rifle for less than $125 (with DROS) I'm thinking about having a little fun and putting on this stock; it only cost $99

Yup, it's a Boyd's. They have a couple of different types and colors. I'm thinking of giving this to my wife and she really likes purple so I might spend an extra $15 and get the purple one.

Me too. The way I look at it just about any gun is worth $50 so I bought it. If I see another gun for that id buy it too.
