I absolutely agree. I found a white boxed, eagle marked, OM Super Blackhawk just outside the RENE serial number range.

FWIW- I can't find a specific series of dates in relation to the 10/22SP in the RENE reference, although the earliest indication elsewhere in the section is 1965. Ruger collectors worldwide owe quite a bit to Chad.
