Anyone have any experience with the Taurus 941 .22 magnum? Caught my eye. Wondering how well it performs, reliability, also any opinions of it's double-action trigger pull and breaking? Thanks.

I have a 94 and the DA is heavy. I would bet the 941 would be the same.Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Hmmmmm
I personally wouldn't own a Taurus if you gave me one for free."When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty"Comment

Taurus 941 22 magnum has a hard and heavy trigger pull like the 94.
I didn't like it so I picked up the Ruger LCR 22 Magnum. I love the ruger, while its accurate, hammer less hammer is easy to pull and smooth.

I have a 941 blued 4" 22 Mag that I like quite a bit.I paid $300 for it.Used
I also own 2 S&W 648s.1) I bought new years ago for $289,the second one I just bought from a PPT NIB for $775.They seem to sell in the $1200 neighbor hood on Gunbroker.I love these things.
The Taurus has been very reliable, but the cylinder will begin to turn hard after about 150 rds.But same for the S&W.
Both brands of guns are very accurate with any ammo I have tried.
The S&W has a better trigger feel to it,and is a slight bit lighter.
Finish on both brands is very good.
Taurus is 1/3 the cost.I will let you be the judge.
I know what I would do.
I just picked up another Taurus 22LR in stainless for $300 used.Comment

The S&W Model 351PD looks interesting but probably not available or affordable. Not so sure about the Charter Arms models either. Have to keep looking. Thanks.NRA Life Member

Just went throught this started looking at the T94. I ended up buying a
Ruger SP101 22lr revolver. Price wise in between Taurus and S&W.
The SP101 is only in 22lr, no magnums yet. So if you are interested in
22lr, take a look at the SP. Save you internet search time, Kygunco has them in stock.Comment

Thanks for the info. Figured with anything rimfire the DA pull would be heavy at best. Really want a .22 magnum but might consider a .22 LR.
Thanks again to all who commented. Much appreciated.NRA Life Member
