My 10/22 and SR22 don't really care for the golden bullets.

Now those Federal bulk blue boxes are a much different story - they are my goto cheap 22 ammo.

I hate them and won't buy them anymore. They cycle just fine but I have crazy fliers like 1 in every 20 shots. I'm talking like a foot off target at 50 yards!

Golden bullets are the best. They outperform blazers, Rem Target in my guns.
I run some SK magazine, CCI SV along with GB and that seems to lube and clean out the crap. Fed HP do not run well in any of my .22s. Of course the SK and CCI all shoot better than the GB but I have gotten some small groups with GBs. Now I will compare them with MiniMags now that I have a lot of MM.

No thanks on GB's. I may try them again (hear they are improved) if they are 2.5 cents per...so prob. never.

Remington GBs run well in all my .22s. Dirty, and maybe 1-3 rounds in 100 are duds, overall acceptable ammo for plinking.

The new and improved version are just that... improved. They've proven to be accurate and reliable in all my .22 guns. Maybe a bit more accurate than CCIs!! They are dirty like all .22s IMHO, especially when shooting 300+per session...

Went out to Burro Canyon this morning and put 100 rounds of GBs through my Beretta Neos

They shoot pretty reliably in my M&P15-22, but my M&P22 and Ruger 22/45 tend to choke and vomit them back out. Many of them hang up in my 10/22 when trying to chamber, which causes the projective to bend and jam the action. I have several boxes I have relegated to using only in the 15-22. That thing is like a hog- et eats fricken anything!

It looks just plain beastly and the extra heft up front does help manage recoil a bit better. Plus, an angel told me that when God called JMB to heaven it was to build him a full rail 1911!

Highest number of duds out of any bulk ammo I've ever shot.

Federal and CCI are the best. Followed by Winchester. Then Remington.

They shoot fine for me but I have different preferences depending on what gun I'm shooting. Also, besides my target rifles I rarely clean.

Maybe you should have had a category, "Don't know: don't use them."

What say Calgunners? Poll coming up.
How is the feeding and reliability? I plan on feeding them through my Buckmark and CMMG kit. I hope they work cause I got 2 boxes and my gf got one for her. I know my CMMG kit hated everything accept CCI/Fed bulk. Thunderbolt/blazer had at least half FTF/FTE.

That's my concern. But like you I see people either praise it or hate it, but I think it's just 22 because it's the same story with every 22 I saw reviews on.

Have not shot them for a long time because they were so bad, lots of FTF.
But, since some people claim they are "improved", may try them again just for a test.

What you mean Eley primers? Just curious as my Aguillas have Eley printed on the boxes.
I just love Aguillas out of my little bolt CZ452.
