Yep, heavy is the complaint of most. Personally I love mine. Oh don't forget you must use Hyper ammo

        Want!

Still kicking myself for passing one up at a LGS when they first came out!
        Sorry, not sorry.

Saw one today at the LGS but I didn't check the price. It's a huge gun and I'd feel silly lugging that thing around just to shoot rimfire. It does look nice though.

            Its a great replica
            I wouldn't recommend it for a person's first 22 rifle--Too expensive and heavy.
But for those of us who collect 22 replica rifles Its a great addition
            BTW
Mine shoots fine with Rem Golden Bullets

Definitely a head turner in the looks department and functions like the real
deal with a WORKING dust cover and last shot hold open It's only a rimfire
but glad to own one, can't beat the price for around $500 bucks,it does have
to use High velocity ammo but mine has been accurate and totally reliable! Pete

I'm waiting for the MP-40 equivalent to show up.

                          Now that looks fun.

I have read the MP-40 is not as cool looking as the STG44, has fake can and picatinny rail
