    Input Requested On The S&W M&P 22.....

    Thinking about the S&W M&P 22.

I know zero about this gun.

    Reliable?

    Easy to clean?

    Any FTF, etc issues?

    School me please.

    Thanks.

Just picked one up a few weeks ago

    Yes
    Yes
None yet, but only about 250 rounds through it so far. My friend has a similar experience so far with many more rounds. Eats everything I gave it including golden bullets.

I recommend getting one. Its dropping off roster soon so act fast.

There are a several threads on calguns comparing semi auto 22s. Reading them convinced me to dros an m&p on monday.

Falls off the roster may 10th.

Turners had them in stock on monday if you are in socal.

Buy one. You will not regret it. Fun to shoot. Reliable. No issues other than the fact some have a hard time finding .22 ammo. Size is equal to full size M&P. Enjoy !

I inquired about them at Turner's today. Was told they are sold out, but accepting deposits. I guess they expect more in before they fall off the roster next month.

I have had my m&p 22 little over a year now and I shoot it at lease once a week. Great pistol by doesn't like the bulk Winchester 555 or 333 HP ammo.

Reliable?--yes I've had one about 1.5 yrs now. After it's good and broken in it will run and run.
mine will even run subsonic 22. it's like shooting a pellet gun at that point.

Easy to clean? the takedown pin on the slide can be hard to move at first but gets easier with use

Any FTF, etc issues?---within over 1000 rounds I've had maybe 5 FTE that was due to a dirty gun. 1 FTF that was bulk ammo
the barrell got some leading in it but again ammo issues. Grab one while you can.

I've been eying one for the past two years and finally jailed it on Friday. I carry a M&P 45 for work, so it makes sense. I've got three 10rd mags coming in from 44mag.com

It's awesome, I have had a couple ftf but I would and have recomended this gun to many people. Everyone that I have let shoot it, loves it. It also compliments my M&P 9 and .45 very well.

Other than the rear sight being off and the gun shooting low and to the left when I got it I've yet to have a malfunction. My Dawson Precision sights came in this weekend and I'm excited to see how they look/shoot.

Extremely reliable, very easy to clean, and eats ammo better than any other .22 I have and I have some well regarded .22 pistols.

That's strange... I never hear of issues like this with the M&P22. It's a champ. I have put about 700 rounds through mine so far and not 1 single FTF, FTE, or anything. Granted, I have always shot good copper plated high velocity through it. But make sure the slides are lubricated and break in the gun with at least 100 mini mags and you are golden.
